Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project needs, ensuring that software solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient software products that support business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Experience with GPT 4 class models, function calling, structured outputs (JSON), and prompt patterns for reasoning/planning.
Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search (vector store), Azure Functions/App Service, Key Vault, AAD authentication, and CI/CD via ADO or GitHub Actions.
Hands-on with Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangChain or similar for building planner–executor flows, tool integrations, and multi agent orchestration.
Strong Python, API development (FastAPI/Flask), async programming, logging/telemetry, error handling, and containerization (Docker).
Practical use of GitHub Copilot for coding productivity, version control (Git), and automation via CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and best practices.
- Experience with application design patterns and architectural principles.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
