Mid-Back End Engineer (Banking – ETL - Batch)
The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze, design, develop, and document specifications for a new accounting interface that will send information to the new Core Banking system.
Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for designing and developing ETL processes to load accounting files into the new Core Banking system, ensuring batch processes are efficient and robust. Lastly, expertise in databases is required for the connection and implementation of these ETL processes.
1. Design and Implementation of Accounting Interfaces
- Analyze, design, and document specifications for a new accounting interface that will send information to the new Core Banking system.
- Identify and map key accounting information to be integrated into the new system.
- Ensure proper alignment of the interface with the bank's accounting and reconciliation processes.
2. Design and Development of ETL Processes for Accounting
- Design and develop ETL processes for loading accounting files into the new Core Banking system using batch processes.
- Ensure data quality and consistency before loading it into the system.
- Define transformation and validation rules to prevent accounting discrepancies.
3. Requirements Analysis and Documentation
- Gather and analyze business requirements for the accounting integration with the new Core Banking system.
- Document technical requirements, ensuring clarity for both development and business teams.
4. Coordination with Key Teams and Impact Assessment
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and back-office teams to identify the impact of the new accounting interface on existing processes.
- Work with technology teams to ensure the proper implementation of integrations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards in the implementation of interfaces and ETL processes.
Requisitos
- Expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Experience with Batch Processes: Skilled in designing and implementing efficient and robust batch processes, particularly in high-volume banking environments.
- Proficiency in Relational Databases: Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of Programming Languages: Proficiency in .NET or similar languages for developing integrations and batch processes, with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Familiarity with Core Banking Systems: Hands-on experience with systems like Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar core banking platforms, including integration and customization.
