Microsoft Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines and solutions using Databricks, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Data Factory.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of cloud-based data engineering practices (Bronze / Silver / Gold (Medallion) architecture)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Implement data solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with client counterpart, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Degree holder – Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science or any other related courses
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Data Factory.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications (nice to have):
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700),
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600),
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
