We are looking for talented people to join our center in Mauritius, for the position of Facilities Project Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the project scope, budget, duration and create the project requirements needed to complete the project.
  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
  • Schedule and conduct project meetings.
  • Monitor the projects regularly to evaluate the progress, quality, management issues emerging and any events that might cause a delay in project completion.
  • Develop project plans and enhance adherence to the project plans to ensure quality is maintained.
  • Design project methodologies and deliverables and monitor all teams to enhance adherence to the best identified methodology.
  • Identify project risks and prepare risk mitigation measures to enhance full utilization of project resources.
  • Document any changes in design and update budgets
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with project stakeholders to enhance quality and timely delivery of the project.
  • Safeguard and maintain all the project documents and data and hand over to Operations team once project goes live.
  • Travel from the office to various sites as required

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Construction estimating or finance experienced would be an advantage.
  • Fully proficient in standard project management tools like Ms Office Project/Excel/Power Point.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical, disciplined, strong attention to details and inquisitive nature.
  • Results oriented and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to multi-task, work under pressure and complete project within a set duration and budget.
  • Good sense of initiative, enthusiasm and team spirit.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree/Advanced Diploma in Project Management, Business Management or similar.
  • A minimum of 2 years practical experience in project management/quantity surveying.
