Job Summary:
 
Supervises the workstation engineering Team in the assigned domain. This will be in the area of workstation to provide onsite support and provide resolution to problems related to hardware, operating system, configuration, client connectivity related, and workstation compliance and any other IT related issues reported. Provide day to day IT Support for the organization and resolving service request or problem related to IT Assets such as workstations and peripherals and managing the IT Asset Storage and Database. Candidate should able to manage the IT operations and focusing on Customer Satisfaction. Ensuring to provide the operational support role in a multi-shift and should be able to work across various shifts. Responsible for ensuring all incidents and outages are closed in a timely manner, properly documented, tracked, and resolution occurs.
 
 
 
Job Description
  • Follow IT asset management policies, process and procedures
  • Good Troubleshooting Desktops/Laptops/basic level server hardware skills
  • Basic understanding of the Network topology & network connectivity (LAN/WAN)
  • Understanding network protocols, addressing schemes and basic skills to trouble shoot the network components
  • Problem solving skills, good Interpersonal skills, fast learner and good verbal & written communication skills
  • Administers process/ tools that support/ facilitate the asset management process for the effective tracking and monitoring of IT assets.
  • Implements proper allocation and distribution of IT assets
  • Supervises the various functional and troubleshooting activities of the workstation team
  • Oversee the project management on projects that requires workstation and voice support
  • Responsible in maintaining workstation security and compliance in accordance to Global Accenture Infrastructure Standards  
  • Review and evaluates the performance of the workstation engineering team on regular basis and ensure that performance of team members is on track
  • Conducts knowledge transfer/training to ensure continuous development of technical competencies of the workstation engineering team
  • Ensures that the systems of internal control, process and standards are compliant on Accenture standards
  • Conducts regular meeting with Workstation Engineering Team and other team leaders/managers of various teams to ensure that all issues are discussed and resolved
  • Handling escalations and proactive action on issues that can trigger escalations
  • Knowledge of call logging tools like Remedy, HP Service Desk, Service Now etc…
 
 Qualifications
  • Degree/BE/B.Tech. in EC/IT/CS
  • 7-8 years’ experience in relevant field
  • ITIL Certified
