Accenture Academy in Mauritius

Accenture Academy program has been mounted in collaboration with University of Mauritius to support the strategy of Accenture Technology to grow and develop its workforce in the NEW IT field.

The conversion MSc program is a master degree for students having a first degree in a discipline other than computing. The program is designed over 12 months’ applied learning and industrial internships to complete different software development modules in view of catering for the evolving needs of the ICT industry. Students will be exposed to the latest technologies and develop the technical, analytical and professional skills required to join a dynamic NEW IT workforce.

This program aims to:

  • This is a Graduate Training for Employment Scheme (GTES) programme targeting unemployed graduates and aiming to enhance the employability

  • Provide sound knowledge and understanding of software development principles and techniques per stream of study

  • Enhance critical analysis and evaluation skills pertaining to information technologies

  • Enable students to acquire professional and ethical standards and actively engage with future technological developments

  • Provide students with deep skillsets to build successful career in ICT sector

The program is run in Full Time mode to cover taught core and optional streams, assessment, self-learning and project assignment resulting in 12-months intensive learning.

Entry Requirement

  • Minimum Second-Class Honors Undergraduate Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from a recognized University, GPA not less than 2.50 or alternative qualifications acceptable to the University of Mauritius and Accenture.

  • The selection process by Accenture includes one full day of games, evaluations and group works.
