Mr. Lichtenstein is managing director for Natural Resources within Accenture Strategy. His role focuses on helping Natural Resources clients develop strategies and capabilities that optimize their financial and operating results, while also capitalizing on digital innovation.
Mr. Lichtenstein has more than 30 years of experience as a company executive and consultant to the global metals and mining industries and has worked for Accenture since 2000. During that time he has worked with leading companies in the areas of strategy and organization, technology, merger and acquisitions, and business transformation.
Mr. Lichtenstein has written numerous articles for industry publications and is frequently quoted in the press. He regularly appears as a featured speaker at events sponsored by the World Steel Association, the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI), Metal Bulletin,American Metal Market (AMM’s) Steel Success Strategies, the Brazilian Steel Institute, the China Iron and Steel Association and others.
Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Lichtenstein held senior positions at Inland Steel, Arthur D. Little, and Beddows & Co.
Mr. Lichtenstein has a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management. He is based in Boston, United States.
