Strategic Sourcing And Contracting Manager is responsible for ensuring we have the right supply chain to deliver the goods and services for the workplace category.  This involves partnering stakeholders to understand category requirements, developing plans with the category managers, identifying market unit suppliers, leading sourcing & contracting exercises and the supplier management of our existing partners.

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Business partner with the Nordics stakeholders being a trusted advisor to understand and support them achieve their objectives

  • Communicate and influence market unit stakeholders to align on objectives and the implementation of category strategies

  • Work closely with the global category management team to ensure the Nordics strategy is delivering in line with global principles

  • Ensure communication flows between the relevant functions at a local and global level that are involved in delivering strategy

  • Effectively oversee the management, communication and workload between stakeholders and the shared service centers in place to support the execution of work

Strategy:

  • Develop a market unit specific category strategy aligned to stakeholder requirements and global category management objectives

  • Identify opportunities to take to the business to change and improve our supply chain to achieve internal P+ and MU objectives

  • Lead the implementation of the global strategy in the Nordics market unit

  • Ensure Category Management team is informed of local category strategy and targets

Sourcing And Contracting:

  • Lead sourcing exercises including RFIs and RFPs in the Nordics market unit to deliver the category strategy and market unit objectives

  • Provide support in upfront market research and supplier identification for all sourcing projects

  • Effectively manage the overall process leveraging the shared service centre to deliver the project in the most efficient manner

  • Facilitate the roll-out of global/regional/local sourcing initiatives within the Nordics market

  • Perform supplier selection for Nordics projects and negotiate commercial proposal with suppliers

  • Responsible for working with suppliers and legal to implement contracts aligned to the above exercises and market unit objectives

  • Ensure that all exercises are aligned to Accenture governance and procurement policy

Supplier Management:

  • Build trusted partnerships with our supplier panel to deliver our strategy and market unit objectives

  • Manage KPI reporting of supplier performance, and identify opportunities for data to improve the delivery of our category strategy

  • Ensure suppliers are delivering services and performing obligations in line with contractual requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge of Procurement methodology and sourcing execution

  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills aligned to a proactive customer-focused approach

  • Experience buying in the workplace category and sub categories

  • Ability to manage projects utilizing shared service center support to achieve the most effective delivery for the business

  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately

  • Comfortable navigating in a multicultural and broad environment and with all levels of the organization

  • Forward and solution minded, team player and with high degree of self-management
