The Solution Architect (SA) plays a critical role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings, assets and custom components. The SA operates as a single point of contact or as part of a team. SA is accountable for solution from sales opportunity early stages to deal transition to the Delivery organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Works with other SAs and client personnel to understand requirements and define according solution
  • Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of various offerings
  • Develop technical solution of various opportunities
  • Drives or supports creation of solution approval deck and other solution documentation together with Sales Support Team
  • Align solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions
  • Handover of Solution to Delivery Team
  • Might lead / be part of delivery team during project setup phase to ensure seamless handover from Sales to Delivery

 Qualification:

  • At least 7 years of relevant IT or Operations experience on the Software Development and/or Application Support
  • Relevant experience in a role or similar capacity that does any of the following activities:
  • Provide support for sales or presales pursuits either for a Systems Integrator, Services, or a Product line;
  • Interpreting why buyers buy and translating these reasons into a solution
  • Design and Architect end to end solutions content that characterizes what products or services are being proposed and how these services will be delivered
  • Estimate for Project and or technical effort to drive scope and produce deliverables
  • Create and Develop a resourcing and staffing plans
  • Provide costing or pricing support
  • Write and Provide content for bids and proposals
  • Familiar with IT market dynamics in particular, technologies that are hot in the market
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
