Brad Michel is Accenture's Life Sciences Industry Lead for North America, responsible for driving our strategy and offerings to lead change for the industry’s most critical issues. His portfolio includes the biopharma/biotech, Med Tech, and wholesalers / distributors industry segments, and knitting together talent and solutions across the value chain (R&D, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, IT and enabling functions) for the benefit of Accenture’s clients. Additionally, he is the senior client account lead for a global healthcare and biopharma company.
Since joining Accenture in 2000, Brad has held leadership roles in Accenture's Life Sciences R&D practice as the North American Portfolio Lead and as a leader for Accenture's R&D domain verticals, including Research, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and the bridge to Commercialization, including Market Access, Launch and Patient Services. Brad was also the lead for Accenture's Scientific Informatics Services business, created with the acquisition of LabAnswer.
Brad has experience leading large client relationships with Top 10 pharmaceutical companies, with a focus on driving transformation through innovation, operational efficiency, and cost savings. He has significant global experience, including an expat assignment in Europe, and has a broad background in business advisory and management consulting, IT strategy and delivery, digital transformation, and outsourcing operations across the Life Sciences value chain.
