As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify root causes of complex system issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address critical incidents promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements and automation opportunities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience with database management and query optimization techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and their operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
