Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday is often dynamic, involving collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving requirements are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the solutions remain relevant and efficient.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Data Mapping & Conversions.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core HCM.
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and best practices within enterprise software environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Experience with configuring and customizing enterprise applications to meet diverse business needs.
- Familiarity with data validation, transformation, and migration processes to ensure data integrity.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Data Mapping & Conversions.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
