Scott Brown is managing director of payer consulting for Accenture's Health practice in Chicago. Scott is a recognized expert in health and ancillary benefit distribution and is responsible for Accenture’s private health insurance exchange offering and payer customer relationship management solutions. Scott is responsible for developing and driving a growth strategy to differentiate the company’s health insurance exchange and distribution capabilities in the marketplace.
He has more than a decade of consulting and health industry experience. Prior to his private exchange work, Scott managed a broad range of consulting engagements, including product introductions, operating model designs and sales and distribution strategies. Nominated as one of the 2016 Rising Stars in Advising, he has emerged as a strategic, analytical, and creative executive focused on healthcare.
As a seasoned executive, Scott has extensive expertise in analyzing complex business situations, leveraging cross industry best practices, developing innovative options, and designing and implementing solutions.
Scott earned his undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Michigan, followed by the completion of an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He follows the football team of his alma mater, and enjoys taking his dog to the beach and spending time with his wife and son.
