Dan Boxwell is managing director for Accenture Health and Public Service. Responsible for delivering innovative technology solutions to public service organizations across the State of California, he currently leads Accenture’s Technology Consulting practice for the State of California public sector.
During his 18 years at Accenture, Dan’s left his mark on all five of the company’s operating groups—communications and high tech, financial services, products, resources and, now, health and public service. He’s designed, built and managed complex web-based applications and helped clients see results beyond what they were imagining. His current focus is on bringing new IT technologies to governments and public service organizations, so that they can preserve the stability of core infrastructure while also meeting citizens’ growing expectations that services are simple to use, transparent and responsive. He prides himself on his team’s commitment and integrity to delivering real value to real people.
Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and currently lives in northern California with his wife and three children. As an avid believer in the power of collaboration, he represents Accenture on the board of directors of Joint Venture Silicon Valley, an organization that brings public and private sector leaders together to discuss and help solve the challenges and opportunities facing their local region.
