Anindya Basu is the Geographic Unit and Country Senior Managing Director at Accenture in India. He is responsible for driving the domestic business in India and strengthening relationships with key clients by leveraging our capabilities in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations.
He is a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Council, as well as the Africa & Asia Pacific Management Committee. Previously, he was leading Accenture’s Automotive, Infrastructure, Industrial, Travel and Transportation (AIIT) vertical for the APAC region.
Anindya joined Accenture in 1992 and has created some of the strongest client relationships for Accenture in the Indian market. He has worked across industries and with clients across geographies in India, Asia Pacific and Europe. Anindya has led numerous engagements in management consulting, technology and outsourcing for some of Accenture’s top global and Indian clients.
Combining decades of business acumen and consulting experience, Anindya has been leading Accenture’s digital agenda for the Indian market. He is a key advocate of the company’s value proposition of “Innovating in the New.” He is passionate about enabling clients in India to be true digital leaders and actively helps them digitally transform to create exponential business gains and sustainable value for stakeholders. He believes that the rapidly evolving digital world requires organizations to be disruptive, agile, dynamic and innovative in managing the interplay of business and technology and adopting digital technologies in an integrated fashion to lead in the “New.”
Anindya holds a master's degree in business administration from Boston University and a bachelor's and a master’s degree in engineering and economics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
He is currently based in New Delhi, India.
