I strongly believe that all numbers have a story behind them—if read correctly, one can achieve wonders! I help our clients do just that. I manage the finance and reporting requirements of our leading global clients. I work with their chief financial officers to improve their financial planning and budgeting and help their companies get more visibility into how each business action impacts their profits. For instance, I spearheaded the financial planning and analysis stream of a large financial services company headquartered in Ottawa, Canada in 2018. My team and I worked closely with the client to seamlessly integrate their finance, operations and supply chain functions within a tight deadline. It was one of the most challenging programs in my career—one that taught me how to think outside the box and keep pushing boundaries to achieve success.
I’m mostly onsite at client locations outside India. My day starts with a quick catch up with my team in India, followed by client workshops where we explore the best solutions for their complex business problems. The nature of these workshops varies from being very strategic to tactical ones, requiring a quicker turnaround of outcomes.
At leisure, I enjoy trekking and writing stories . I also like to unwind with good classical music as it helps me rejuvenate!
