Job Summary

While manual testing is still important, there's an increasing focus on automating various testing types - functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility. As a Technical Test Engineer, you will contribute to our automation efforts, helping enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Work in agile environments, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and report issues effectively.
- Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Log bugs and provide clear documentation of test results.
- Show eagerness to learn and contribute proactively in a team environment.
- Maintain a high standard of work ethics and professionalism.
Professional and Technical Skills
- 1.5–3 years of experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
- Basic knowledge of creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python is a plus).
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with BDD (e.g., Cucumber) or TDD (e.g., JUnit) is desirable.
- Basic understanding of testing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Git-based version control systems like GitHub or GitLab.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Exposure to build tools like NPM or Maven.
Additional Information
- Some experience in Selenium and Java-based automation.
- Exposure to cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Basic experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium).
- Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Experience in generating reports using tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
- Awareness of Docker or containerized environments is a plus.
- Basic understanding of security testing is an advantage.
- Good to have knowledge/experience in the E-commerce domain.
