Job Summary
As an SAP FICO with COPC & COPA Manager, you will lead financial transformation programs focused on product cost optimization, margin transparency, and profitability management. You will design and implement SAP Controlling solutions that enable real-time cost tracking, accurate profitability analysis, and informed decision-making for business leaders. Your work will deliver tangible business outcomes such as 5–10% margin improvement, faster close cycles, and enhanced visibility across cost centers and products.

- Real-Time Margin Analysis (S/4HANA COPA) – faster decision-making through embedded analytics.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations focusing on COPC and COPA process design, configuration, and delivery.
- Implement product costing (cost component splits, activity pricing, overhead calculation, WIP, variance analysis).
- Configure and manage COPA (costing-based and account-based) to deliver real-time margin visibility.
- Design integrated planning and reporting frameworks linking COPC/COPA with Finance, SD, PP, and MM.
- Collaborate with finance leadership to deliver standard cost rollouts, budget simulations, and cost monitoring dashboards.
- Drive migration to S/4HANA Finance, ensuring consistency between COPC, COPA, and Universal Journal.
- Establish governance and continuous improvement frameworks to enhance cost transparency and profitability accuracy.
- Provide strategic insights to management for margin improvement and cost efficiency initiatives.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must To Have: Strong expertise in SAP COPC (Product Costing, Cost Object Controlling, Variance Analysis) and COPA (Costing-Based & Account-Based Profitability Analysis).
- Deep understanding of integration with MM, PP, SD, and FI modules for end-to-end cost flow.
- Experience with S/4HANA Universal Journal and Margin Analysis.
- Proven experience in financial performance management, cost optimization, and profitability reporting.
- Strong business acumen with ability to link system design to P&L and margin KPIs.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with CFO and Finance Transformation teams.
Additional Information
- Candidates should demonstrate proven experience in profitability improvement and cost transparency programs using COPC and COPA.
- This is a Hybrid role open across Pan India locations.
