Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Consultant (L6 level) with a strong track record in managing end-to-end SAP implementations, including both bluefield and brownfield approaches. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Japanese and English, capable of leading client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution design in a Japanese business environment.
This role requires a minimum of 10 years of SAP experience, including hands-on involvement from planning through to successful implementation. The consultant will play a key role in driving client engagements, especially in the Japan market, and ensuring alignment with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP implementation projects (bluefield and brownfield) from planning to execution
- Engage directly with Japanese-speaking clients to gather requirements and provide solutions
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure successful execution and go-live
- Support project governance, timeline management, and stakeholder communication
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed
Must-Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP implementations (end-to-end)
- Expertise in bluefield and brownfield migration strategies
- Fluency in Japanese and English (both verbal and written)
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex environments
Good-to-Have Skills:
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules
- Experience working with Japanese automotive or manufacturing clients
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects
- Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, PMP)
