Job Summary: The Senior Producer is responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality video content for marketing campaigns. With 7-10 years of experience, this role requires a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C markets, as well as the ability to manage all aspects of film production, from pre-production to post-production. The Senior Producer will work closely with account, strategy, and creative teams to develop integrated marketing solutions that deliver measurable results.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the production process for all major campaigns, from concept development to final delivery.
- Collaborate with creative teams and global production teams to ensure that the vision for each campaign is executed effectively.
- Take full ownership of a project; have a clear understanding, vision, and plan of the project that is clearly communicated and executed.
- Act as the key decision-maker for production strategies, managing both internal teams and external partners (e.g., directors, vendors, post-production houses).
- Oversee all aspects of production, including pre-production planning, shoots, post-production, and final output.
- Ensure all creative outputs are aligned with the client’s vision and the agency’s quality standards.
- Lead production teams, including producers, production managers, editors, and external vendors.
- Work closely with creative, account, and strategy teams to align production efforts with broader campaign goals.
- Foster strong working relationships with directors, cinematographers, editors, and post-production teams to bring the creative vision to life.
- Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring projects stay on budget while maintaining the desired quality.
- Allocate resources efficiently, balancing creative needs with cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with external vendors, production companies, and freelancers.
- Maintain financial oversight throughout the production process, handling contingencies and cost overruns as necessary.
- Create and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring all aspects of the project stay on track and meet deadlines.
- Oversee the coordination of production logistics, including location scouting, talent booking, crew hiring, and equipment rentals.
- Anticipate and troubleshoot any potential delays or issues that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure that the final product meets both the client’s expectations and the agency’s high-quality standards.
- Review and approve all creative deliverables to ensure they align with the creative brief and campaign objectives.
- Act as the gatekeeper of creative quality, ensuring that production execution enhances the creative concept.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external production vendors, directors, talent agencies, and post-production houses.
- Negotiate rates and terms with third-party vendors to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Oversee the selection of directors, editors, and other key external talent, matching the right creative partners to each project.
- Maintain a focus on innovation and excellence in production, constantly seeking out new techniques, technologies, and methods to elevate the work.
- Serve as the primary production contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring that client expectations are met.
- Collaborate closely with account management teams to ensure the production process aligns with the overall campaign strategy and client goals.
- Lead client-facing production meetings, presenting production plans, timelines, and budgets, while managing expectations.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Overall experience of 12+ years with at least 10 years of production, editing experience with a major consulting firm or advertising agency or leading MNC.
- Deep understanding and experience of production processes, from pre-production to post-production, across multiple media formats.
- Fluency with editing and creative tools.
- Deep understanding of production technologies and trends, including camera equipment, editing software, and digital content delivery.
- Strong portfolio or samples of work demonstrating the width and depth of experience in the given field.
- Excellent communication skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
- Proven experience in the development of integrated marketing and communications campaigns for global clients.
- Extensive experience producing content for multiple platforms, including TV, digital, social media, and branded content.
- Experience in working with middle to senior management levels within existing organization/client organizations.
- Good organizational, and time-management skills.
- Creative, collaborative spirit.
