Job Summary:
Our main aim is to coordinate, activate and oversee different profit optimization and cost efficiencies initiatives across Accenture globally, working with the different Corporate Functions (Mobility, Sales, Finance, HR, Business Operations, Procurement, etc).  This requires an experienced outgoing person with strong project management skills and deep financial and Accenture economic model knowledge able to plan and execute special projects, navigating ambiguity and inspiring change as it works in close collaboration with other senior leads.

The Office of the COO is responsible for managing the corporate operations across all Accenture organizations and implementing the firm’s strategies.  As part of Accenture's Corporate Operations organization, the Enterprise Operations and Profitability Management team is responsible for advancing Accenture’s profit ambitions, with a particular focus on structural cost optimization across the entire enterprise, including delivery, selling, and operating the business.  The team also leads transformation and execution of specific enterprise-wide interests, including the integration of data, analytics, Gen-AI, and management reporting across all Accenture corporate functions.  It is also accountable for the management and enablement of Accenture’s organization and business architecture, as well as measuring the performance of the enterprise, its leaders, and the value realized from its reinventions, transformations, and other strategic initiatives and priorities.

              

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify Revenue, Pricing, Cost-To-Serve, and structural actionable insights that lead to profit activation opportunities across Accenture’s defined profit levers and sub-levers.
  • Activate and drive Profit Optimization workstreams at speed and scale, while collaborating with many different organizations to coordinate the required change management for sustainable transformation.
  • Lead/support continuous improvement efforts for processes, tools, metrics and training based on ongoing experience, process metrics, feedback from stakeholders and dynamic context
  • Support Business Leaders with insights and specific options to build durable and sustainable profitable growth.
  • Success will be measured through the realization of increased profit at stakeholder nodes.

             

Required Skills:

  • Be a key shaper and driver to act as a trusted advisor to help activate/realize Profit Optimization workstreams.
  • Manage and drive special projects and requests that require deep knowledge of complex components of the businesses.
  • Understanding the businesses and technologies that we sell to our customers (e.g. GenAI) to potentially apply internally.
  • Lead/support continuous improvement efforts for processes, tools, metrics and training based on ongoing experience, process metrics, feedback from stakeholders and dynamic context.

Additional Information:

Project Management: Develop and execute end-to-end project management activities. Define project scope with key stakeholders and effectively manage milestones and dependencies. Support the management of financial, contractual, and operational commitments. Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting. Mitigate risks as defined in project plan. 

Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify areas for cost savings and profit improvement.

Strategic Planning: Skills in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize profits and reduce costs.

Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to gather, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions.

Cost Management: Expertise in identifying and managing costs, including fixed and variable costs, to improve profitability.

Process Improvement: Knowledge of methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement techniques to streamline operations and reduce waste.

Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and vendors.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve cost-saving and profit optimization goals.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software, ERP systems, and other technology tools used in financial management.

Risk Management: Understanding of risk management principles to identify and mitigate financial risks.
