Financial Close Process Associate Manager

Job Description
- Perform analysis on monthly results, focusing on certain operating expense and balance sheet categories to understand fluctuations from trend and/or forecast and confirm US GAAP compliance.
- Provide various quarterly and annual deliverables to external auditors and management and respond to various questions/requests - including in depth analysis of deferred transition costs and revenue, audit/non-audit fees, other accrued liabilities, and accrued payroll.
- Act as the liaison between Country Controllers and External Auditors - including managing expense testing and forensic audit performed by the External Auditors.
- Manage analyst in the preparation of key month-end and quarter-end deliverables, including default cost center analysis, global severance, and purchase obligations.
- Oversee / validate monthly accruals for Accenture’s Recognizing Performance program, global GAAP audit fees and vacation reprice.
- Comply with various monthly/quarterly internal controls, including review of internal control documents, prepared by peers, and enter results of review in Sarbox tool.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancements of internal reporting tools, including Workiva and Sharepoint sites.
- Participate and complete special projects and initiatives in the innovation and continuing improvement area.
- Address ad-hoc requests as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
Must have:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant international accounting function, including US GAAP and financial analysis experience
Good to have:
- CPA
- Knowledge of SAP S4 & BR
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
