Job Summary:

Deliver data-driven strategies to transform client’s business operations or business model with a target to optimize strategic, financial, and operational goals.
Good to have knowledge around new business model in energy retail, clean energy technologies and regulatory standards
Role Description
New Business Models & Market sizing: Analyze new business models & markets and help client’s pivot to new models with a focus on solidifying their competitive advantage and driving value on multiple levels: financial impact, organizational transformation, enhanced effectiveness and digitalization, improved supplier collaboration and optimized risk management.
Cost Optimization: Assist utilities in adapting best in class O&M cost structures to drive sustained customer value and strengthen their positions against new energy players through detailed benchmarking studies, organization analysis and targeted process and practice transformations.
Lead the creation of business cases & financial models for strategic & transformation initiatives.
Growth Strategy and M&A: Aid utility clients in expanding to alternative markets or industries, rebalancing their business portfolio and increasing their footprint within the same industry by providing appropriate market and company analysis and prospective acquisition targets.
Other Experience:
Strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and pro-active thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a distributed consulting model
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Education: MBA (Tier 1), Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry
Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate strategy within Utility industry and/or strategic consulting firms with an understanding of emerging utility business models and dynamics of utility adjacent industries.
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial modeling and pricing and strategy advisory
Minimum 3 years of experience with industry analytics and quantitative skills, must be an analytical thinker with 2 years of prior experience driving insights using statistics or data analysis
