Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing software solutions to enhance business operations and improve efficiency. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, designing application architecture, coding and testing applications, and ensuring the successful deployment of software solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. - Design and develop high-quality software applications based on business process and application requirements. - Create and maintain technical documentation for applications. - Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality and reliability. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. - Implement DevOps practices to automate software development, testing, and deployment processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues in a timely manner. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. - Assist in the deployment and configuration of applications in production environments. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with GitHub Actions. - Strong understanding of software development principles and practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
