Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for creating efficient and scalable software solutions that contribute to the success of our organization. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, and developing high-quality code to deliver innovative applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and design efficient software solutions. - Develop high-quality code using Java Enterprise Edition to create innovative applications. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of the applications. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance the development process. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application defects and issues. - Create technical documentation for reference and knowledge sharing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Java Standard Edition. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with web application development using Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. - Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data manipulation and retrieval. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for code management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Standard Edition. - Solid grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. - Experience with Agile development practices and tools like JIRA. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
