Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to develop and implement solutions, ensuring the applications are aligned with business needs and requirements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise, as well as providing technical guidance and support to the team. With your expertise in SAP ABAP Development, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing application performance and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs and interfaces. - Perform unit testing and debugging of programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency. - Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP technologies and trends to continuously improve application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development. - Strong understanding of SAP ABAP programming concepts and techniques. - Experience in developing and enhancing SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms. - Knowledge of SAP modules and integration with other systems. - Experience with SAP development tools and technologies, such as ABAP Workbench, Web Dynpro, and SAPUI5. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori development. - Recommendation: Familiarity with SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA. - Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
