As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while continuously monitoring and analyzing system behavior to prevent potential disruptions. The role demands adaptability and a keen eye for detail to support the ongoing functionality of complex software environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline support processes and improve response times.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow, ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities within complex software systems.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining critical business applications to ensure high availability.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes of issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with incident management and change management processes in IT service environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow and IT Operations Management
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
