Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role includes creating detailed documentation of security controls and overseeing the seamless transition of these controls into cloud security-managed operations. The position requires continuous evaluation and refinement of security architectures to support evolving business needs and ensure robust protection within cloud environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Skill- Palo Alto Firewall (Palo Alto Certified Network Engineer)
- Monitoring and managing network performance and availability
- Handling security operations, including incident response and vulnerability management
- Supporting firewall, VPN, and access control configurations
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and standards
- JD- Monitor and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management system.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
- Handle incident tickets, MIM calls and escalations related to firewall issues.
- Implement firewall rule changes, NAT, and VPN configurations
- Perform firewall health checks, upgrades and backups.
- Handling the Paloalto support TAC cases
- Support compliance and security audit requirements.
- 24 7 rotational shift work including nights and weekends.
- Palo Alto PCNSA certification or equivalent.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and threat prevention techniques.
- Ability to analyze security incidents and develop mitigation strategies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
