Summary:
As a Business Analyst, Responsible for defining, analyzing, and translating business and payments requirements into functional specifications for IPF-based payment solutions across real-time and batch payment systems
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business & functional requirements
- Define end-to-end payment flows (initiation to settlement)
- Perform impact analysis for ISO 20022 and scheme changes
- Support data mapping from legacy payment engines to IPF
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and testers
- Support UAT, defect triage, and go-live activities
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Payments Fundamentals, Business Requirements Analysis.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- 6–10 years in Banking/Payments BA roles
- Strong payments domain knowledge (FPS, SEPA, RTGS, SWIFT)
- ISO 20022 & MT/MX message understanding
- Agile / Scrum delivery experience.
- Prior ICON IPF exposure
- Faster Payments or SEPA Instant experience
- Regulatory knowledge (PSD2, compliance, sanctions)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Payments Fundamentals.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
