As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with team members to ensure that applications are aligned with organizational goals and are scalable, reliable, and efficient. Continuous evaluation and refinement of software components to enhance performance and usability are also integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions by adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Continuously monitor and improve existing applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
- Good To Have Skills: Talend ETL, Apache Airflow, Prompt Engineering.
- Experience in developing scalable and maintainable software applications using Python.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
