Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with evolving business objectives and deliver optimal performance. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development, from initial design to final configuration, ensuring seamless integration within the existing business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve team processes to enhance productivity and quality of deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and their application within SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP FI modules to support business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions within SAP.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP FI and other modules such as Controlling and Asset Accounting.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting configurations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
