Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Must have skills : AWS Administration
Good to have skills : Cloud Infrastructure, AWS Architecture

Summary:
An IT systems engineer develops, tests, implements, and evaluates new software, improves existing processes, upgrades hardware, and does whatever else is necessary to ensure that the organization has streamlined and functional systems that can meet the KN business needs. You also ensure that problems are prevented or solved, should they happen. As systems engineer, you understand technology beyond merely engineering it. You understand the role it plays in the larger picture of KN s and every employee s ultimate objective. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer
systems engineering, or systems engineering and -analysis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Continuous requirements and change management. Management of related IT projects to assure in-time delivery of requested functions.
- Server & Application operations and monitoring. Making sure all the applications run smooth.
- New system deployments and maintenance.
- Capacity and performance management to cover future growth.
- Monitoring system performance, log files and system availability. Setting up tools and helping development with performance problems.
- Identifying, troubleshooting and analyzing technical problems.
- System- and process documentation.
- Working together with our global infrastructure teams. Communication with internal and external parties.
- Other one-time tasks assigned by Manager.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Successfully completed university degree in the field of computer science, computer systems engineering, systems engineering and -analysis or a comparable course.
- High level of initiative, good communication skills as well as a goal-orientated and structured working method.
- Knowledge and experience in application server management and virtualization tools.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving competencies.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good communications skills in English both written and verbal.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in AWS Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
