Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that solutions meet evolving business requirements. The work environment embraces agile methodologies, encouraging iterative development and frequent feedback to enhance software performance and scalability. Throughout the day, the engineer balances coding, testing, and refining software modules while adapting to new challenges and contributing to the overall project success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the project.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables effectively.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience in designing efficient data models.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of data flows and queries.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP BW/4HANA with other enterprise systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Good understanding of agile software development practices and version control systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
