Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in software development processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong Core CAPM skills - Node.JS and CDS Modelling (Entities, Associations, projections, Services)
- Debugging and troubleshooting CAP runtime issues
- Knowledge on CAP security- ZSUAA and role-based control
- Knowledge of service instances and bindings
- Ability to analyze BTP logs and metrics (cf logs, application logs, service logs)
- Good understanding of S/4HANA APIs (OData) and integrations with CAPM
- Must have experience with deployment
- Should have ability to enhance existing CAP apps (CDS changes, business logic updates, UI adjustments)
- Should have experience in handling CDS upgrades
- Solid knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud, CDS modeling, and HDI containers
- Hands-on experience with Job Scheduling Service and background processing
- Nice to have: Capability to design and build new CAPM applications end-to-end
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Application Development.
- Experience with cloud-native application design and deployment.
- Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and API management within SAP environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BTP Application Development.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
