Summary:
As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. The role includes installing database management systems and developing procedures that support daily maintenance activities and efficient problem resolution. This position requires continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of database environments to support organizational needs and ensure data integrity and availability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database performance and scalability.
- Monitor database health and implement proactive measures to prevent potential issues.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in database-related tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Generative AI.
- Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance best practices.
- Strong understanding of database management systems installation and configuration.
- Ability to develop and implement procedures for routine database maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for large-scale databases.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and data security principles to ensure data protection.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Generative AI.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
