Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to specific needs. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project stakeholders, coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with different groups to align technical solutions with business objectives, fostering collaboration and driving project success through effective communication and leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and standards within the team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and resolve any inter-team challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Governance.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Analytics Services, Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, Data Engineering.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, including data quality, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in developing and enforcing policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and security.
- Ability to analyze complex data environments and implement governance strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies that facilitate data cataloging, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Governance.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
