Summary:-
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of S4Hana Material Management implementation. This role requires collaboration with client on requirement gathering , identify the best solution and guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position demands ensuring that development standards are maintained consistently, with a focus on code quality, scalability, and performance that align closely with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the role involves coordinating efforts across multiple teams to achieve seamless integration and successful project outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Led and ensured quality review of team documentation.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management
- Good to have skill : SAP DRC, eInvoicing.
- Strong knowledge of materials management processes and integration with various enterprise resource planning systems/ Non-ERP systems.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures tailored to business needs.
- Experience in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system upgrades.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and effective software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- 15 years full time education is required.
