Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on enhancing the overall quality throughout the application lifecycle. Your work includes continuous testing efforts that cover security aspects, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the testing processes to support robust and reliable software delivery.
Working experience in DevOps application administration (Intermediate-Expert level), including:
- Confluence (User level)
- Jira Software (User level)
- Git / GitLab administration
- GitLab Runners administration
- Artifactory administration
- Jenkins administration
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, with a foundational understanding of AWS cloud concepts, services, and terminology.
- Linux administration (Fundamentals/Practitioner level).
- Windows administration (Fundamentals/Practitioner level).
- Extensive experience with Jira Service Management (Agent and Administrator level).
JSM for AIOps, including extensive automation using Rovo Agents, Virtual Service Assistance and related integrations with engineering tools (such as, Artifactory, GitLab, SonarQube, so on).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development cycle.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with complex testing scenarios.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Experience with designing and implementing automated testing strategies and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with security testing and API testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot defects effectively to enhance software quality.
- Knowledge of environment and data configuration management to support testing activities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
