As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role centers on managing the entire quality engineering lifecycle with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to elevate control, precision, and data integrity throughout the testing phases. This position requires a proactive approach to continuously refine testing strategies and ensure the delivery of reliable and efficient software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize testing workflows.
- Maintain and update automated test scripts to ensure alignment with evolving project requirements.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on automation best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to improve test coverage and reliability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
