Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the software solutions.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth of junior team members.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and configuration techniques.
- Experience with APIs and integration methods to connect ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Ability to utilize low-code development tools to customize and extend application functionality.
- Familiarity with release management processes and ensuring system stability during updates.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues in a timely manner.

The HRSD Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and configuring HR Service Delivery solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on building scalable workflows, automations, and integrations to enhance employee experience and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Development & Configuration
Develop and configure HRSD applications including:
HR Case Management
Employee Service Center (ESC)
HR Knowledge Base
Customize forms, workflows, UI policies, and business rules
Build and maintain catalog items and record producers
2. Workflow & Automation
Design and implement workflows using Flow Designer and legacy workflows
Automate HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle events
Optimize case routing, approvals, and task management
3. Integration Development
Develop integrations using:
REST/SOAP APIs
IntegrationHub
Integrate ServiceNow with HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors) and identity tools
Ensure secure and efficient data exchange
4. Scripting & Customization
Write server-side and client-side scripts (JavaScript):

Client Scripts
Develop reusable components and maintain code quality standards
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
