Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and analyzing various components of essential business systems. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery and minimize downtime. The position demands vigilance, problem-solving, and effective communication to support business continuity and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve incidents efficiently.
- Mentor junior team members to develop their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Monitoring & Tools.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within SAP environments.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex system problems and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of business-critical applications.
- Familiarity with system performance monitoring, alerting mechanisms, and root cause analysis techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Monitoring & Tools.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
