In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based software solutions. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while balancing business requirements and vendor limitations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring the platform evolves effectively to meet changing needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and delivery.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and improve team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment between technical and business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Assets Reliability and Maintenance Management.
- Strong knowledge of software configuration management and release processes.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures for packaged or cloud-based applications.
- Ability to establish and enforce platform standards that ensure system reliability and performance.
- Skilled in integrating diverse software components and managing vendor relationships.
- Competence in troubleshooting complex system issues and providing effective solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Assets Reliability and Maintenance Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
