Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align software architecture with evolving business requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS), Expense Reporting, Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS).
- Strong expertise in software architecture design and implementation for custom solutions.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing project delivery timelines.
- Ability to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through rigorous review and testing processes.
- Familiarity with integration of software solutions within complex enterprise environments.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges across multiple teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5+ years of experience in Oracle Profitability and Cost Management (PCMCS)/EPM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
