Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective software solutions. The role includes participating in the design and development of applications tailored to support and enhance business processes. Throughout the day, the engineer engages in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications align with organizational goals and deliver optimal performance. Interaction with cross-functional teams is frequent, fostering a dynamic environment where ideas and feedback contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in software development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of software components.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any challenges or risks that may arise.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms within the SAP environment.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to work with SAP HANA database technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in SAP ABAP for HANA applications.
- Experience in integrating SAP modules and working with various SAP tools and technologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
