Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

JD: Workday – HRMM integration consultant
- HR PA (Personnel Admin) and OM (org Management) experience Required: The integration will create a selection of info types for employees (GSK have an existing mapping for this for the interim project)
- Functional integration experience Required: Will need to work closely with the BTP and Workday teams so would be beneficial
- IDOC experience Desired: The assumption is that we ll be using IDOCs to update the employee records in S4, so experience of running importing IDOCS, reprocessing and error checking would be beneficial
Key activities expected:
1. Requirement Mapping: Identifying which Workday fields map to SAP infotypes and ensuring that mandatory fields (like Cost Centers or Personnel Areas) are consistent between both systems.
2. ALE & IDoc Configuration: Defining the distribution model and configuring the Inbound Process Code to handle incoming IDocs. They must ensure that the system correctly updates infotypes upon receipt of the message.
3. Data Transformation Rules: Working with the BTP developer to define business rules for data conversion (e.g., mapping Workday Legal Entities to SAP Company Codes ).
Management and coordination skills:
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (Workday, BTP/middleware, S/4 HRMM and T&E) and align activities and dependencies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, experience planning and tracking integration tasks across teams.
This role will be supported by existing Tech and functional resources in the areas:
- Workday functional and technical consultants
- Middleware consultants / BTP consultants
- Existing S/4 program T&E and HRMM team
