Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Lead L3 Operations Engineer to oversee advanced production support and operational stability of a large-scale Identity Governance environment. This role involves handling complex troubleshooting, leading L3 incident resolution, guiding operations teams, and ensuring the reliability of identity lifecycle processes across integrated enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ internals, provisioning workflows, connectors, and rule troubleshooting while also providing leadership in managing incidents, driving root cause analysis, and improving operational processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead L3 production support activities for SailPoint IdentityIQ, resolving complex provisioning, workflow, connector, and lifecycle management issues.
-Act as the technical escalation point for L2/L3 operations teams for critical incidents and platform issues.
-Lead troubleshooting of identity request failures, provisioning issues, approval workflows, and lifecycle events.
-Perform detailed log analysis, root cause identification, and problem management to prevent recurring issues.
-Oversee operational stability of identity lifecycle management, provisioning processes, access requests, and certification workflows.
-Ensure consistent execution of aggregation, correlation, identity cube creation, and scheduled tasks.
-Lead investigation of connector issues (Active Directory, JDBC, REST, Web Services, enterprise applications).
-Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve cross-system IAM integration issues.
--Analyze and troubleshoot BeanShell rules, workflows, provisioning policies, and lifecycle event configurations.
-Establish and maintain operational best practices, runbooks, and troubleshooting frameworks for SailPoint support teams.
-Drive automation and operational efficiency improvements within IAM support processes.
-Oversee monitoring of scheduled tasks, background jobs, application health, and identity processing pipelines.
-Ensure proactive identification and resolution of performance or stability issues.
-Perform impact analysis for configuration changes, deployments, upgrades, and patches.
-Support production releases and post-deployment validation activities.
-Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, failover testing, and recovery validation for SailPoint environments.
-Ensure readiness of IAM services during infrastructure or environment changes.
-Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2/L3 operations engineers.
-Support knowledge transfer, troubleshooting training, and capability building within the IAM support team.


Professional & Technical Skills:
-Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ production support and platform operations
-Deep understanding of Identity Lifecycle Management, provisioning workflows, and access governance processes
-Experience troubleshooting provisioning failures, identity requests, connector issues, and lifecycle events
-Strong knowledge of IdentityIQ architecture, identity cube processing, and aggregation mechanisms
-Experience reviewing and troubleshooting BeanShell rules and SailPoint workflows
Experience with log monitoring and analysis platforms (Splunk, Sumo Logic, ELK, etc.)
-Strong working knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and operational reporting
-Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments for application support
-Experience working with ITSM tools and ITIL processes
-Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
-Ability to lead incident resolution during critical production outages
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
-Ability to drive operational improvements and platform stability initiatives
-Experience preparing detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
