Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system components, and ensuring smooth operation by promptly addressing and resolving technical challenges. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain the reliability and efficiency of essential software services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Document findings and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and enhancements to improve overall service quality.
- Support junior team members by sharing insights and providing guidance on technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Experience with software asset lifecycle management and compliance processes.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software-related issues effectively.
- Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices.
- Ability to work with various system components and understand their interdependencies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
