Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or SaaS applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases to maintain system stability and performance. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to ensure that solutions are well aligned with organizational needs while preserving compatibility across different systems. Collaboration with other teams to monitor and optimize application functionality is also a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous availability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Experience with integration of cloud-based applications and services.
- Familiarity with APIs and low-code/no-code development platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
- Strong understanding of software release management and version control.
- Knowledge of system compatibility and performance optimization techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
