Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, your day revolves around enhancing the testing lifecycle by integrating continuous and efficient quality engineering practices. You focus on streamlining processes and leveraging innovative tools to ensure high standards of accuracy and integrity throughout the testing phases. Your role involves evolving testing strategies to be more predictive and intelligent, driving improvements that support seamless automation and the delivery of robust testing solutions across projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to build collective expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align testing objectives with overall project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop comprehensive test strategies that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
- Familiarity with various testing frameworks and tools that support automation and quality assurance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to test automation environments and processes.
- Experience in collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
