Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into effective software designs, ensuring that the solutions align with the overall business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Lead demand planning processes to deliver accurate forecasts across product categories and regions.
-Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.
-Analyze historical data, market trends, and promotional activities to improve forecast accuracy.
-Monitor and report demand planning KPIs such as forecast bias, accuracy, and demand variability.
-Manage exceptions proactively, addressing forecast deviations and ensuring corrective actions.
-Utilize advanced planning tools (SAP APO, IBP, Kinaxis, or similar) for statistical modeling and scenario planning.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting methodologies and demand planning processes.
-Support global/regional stakeholders with governance, reporting, and demand planning best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Proficiency in demand planning tools (SAP APO, IBP, Kinaxis, or similar).
-Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities.
-Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix environment with global teams.
-Continuous improvement mindset with knowledge of Lean/Agile practices.
Additional Information:
-Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
-Master s degree or professional certification (APICS CPIM/CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent) preferred.
-8-10 years of experience in demand planning or related SCM functions.
-Strong exposure to global demand planning processes and advanced planning systems.
